Edward is an award winning design and business leader, practicing in integrated planning, urban, architectural and interior design, with over 19 years of experience in geographies covering Mainland China, Hong Kong, United States, South East Asia and South Korea.
He graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Arts (Hons), and received his Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. After working in the United States for two years, Edward returned to Hong Kong and started his own design partnership as well as becoming a tutor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Edward decided to further his professional experience through a large company, so he joined EDAW, which eventually merged into AECOM. He was Managing Director for the Guangzhou and Shekou offices, responsible for developing the company's Southern China business. Edward eventually became Managing Director of AECOM's Hong Kong Design Planning + Economics Group, and led the group of over 140 in managing and cultivating business through quality and professional delivery of projects, as well as strategic planning and growth.
Currently as the principal for OUI, Edward is passionate in bringing talents together in realizing high quality design and build projects for public and private sectors in the region.
